Well, I was trying to avoid the worst forms of insult and deprecation here, and I really do think that most of them think that they love God, whatever they think of as God, and whatever they think of as love. So I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, as it were, on #1.

I think the object lesson we all can take from this is the following:
