This is my Tiger pic. Originally made for me by missysedai when I was still on Open Diary, I still use it occasionally when I'm feeling particularly Tigrish (IOW, playful, mischievous, and flirtatious).



This is my Black Moon. Used when I'm feeling extremely depressed, sad, and moody. I used to have a red "Blood Moon" as well for when I was exceptionally angry. (Hmmm....maybe I should resurrect that one...)



Lady Nox. Made for me by silmaril when I requested a new icon. She envisioned it as Elena Hernadez, Lady Nox, my character in In Media Res. I love it lots, especially the colors. Used when I'm feeling particularly upbeat about something.



The head of the Byzantine Empress Theodora, from the famous mosaic. Used when I'm in particular "you may all worship me now" mood.



Also made by silmaril, this is "Lady Nox" in tengwar script. The colors, for the Domain of Night and Dreams, should be self-explanitory. Used along with the next one for a neutral mood, but also occasionally for a slightly sad mood.



Made as part of the icon generator meme that went around a little while back. I like it because it actually looks fairly like me. Except the eyebrows are a little off-center. Oh, well. *smile* Used when I'm in a normal/neutral mood.



Cropped from an Astronomy Picture of the Day a while back, this is an analemma made from the sun and taken somewhere in Greece. I made it so I can have a "geeky" icon and also because I thought it looked cool. Used for "oh wow that's cool" moments, especially when they involve geekery.
