The Coffee Revolution

As most people know, I am not a big coffee drinker. Regular coffee is worthy of toleration only if I am excessively sleep-deprived and it comes with tons of sugar and sufficient cream. For most purposes, I massively prefer tea, cocoa, or cider. Specialty coffees (cappucinos, espressos) are an exception to this rule. For one thing, they tend to be made from superior coffee to start with, and then they put all sorts of sweet, creamy, nifty flavors into the coffee until it really doesn't taste like coffee anymore. Recently, I came into possession of a "try one for free" coupon for a container of Folgers' Cafe Latte. I elected to try the Mocha Fusion, and oh man, am I hooked. Sweet, chocolatey goodness, mmmm....

Also, you have taken the first step on the path of darkness. Sure, you start with something innocuous like Folgers' Mocha Fusion instant coffee. But next thing you know, you'll be mainlining Kona and Sumatra with the rest of us.

(And now I just totally put myself in the mood for some coffee...)

Or snorting the grounds directly. I've seen it happen and it's not pretty.
