Amusing things I've noted in the New Year so far:
My brand-new cell phone makes pathetic "meeping" sounds when it's running low on battery power. Unfortunately, since I have to run it down completely the first two times to ensure proper battery life, this means I've been listening to it for a few hours now. There's something very amusing about saying to my cell phone "Die! Die! Damn you, why won't you die!" and suchlike while it meeps at me, begging me to feed it.
Why yes, I am weird.

publius1 play Worlds of Warcraft at the recent DFS.
One of the local churches has the following message on its sign:
Has life given you wrinkles? Come to God for a faith lift.
Gives me unavoidable giggles when I go past because it just sounds *so* gay, and I'm pretty sure they didn't intend it to.
