Went to the temp agencies today. I guess I got lucky insofar as most of them toss inactive applications after about a year. Being laid off when I was, most of them still had my former application on file, so all I had to do was fill out some updating forms and leave my current resume. A couple of the ladies I talked to even remembered me by sight, which is always a plus. Tomorrow I tackle the school districts. I'm tending to break things up--go out and leave resumes in the morning, come back and do follow-ups and such in the afternoon. I don't want to be out too much in case someone does call me.
