1) Dumplings, especially Asian style. The ones I had in Japan were wonderful and I toldhoya99 that when we go back, I want to do dim sum.
2) Drama. My favorite extracurricular club in high school, the source of many memories, mostly fond, and in some ways my saving grace from becoming a permanent hermit.
3) Dark chocolate. Wins hands down over milk chocolate any day, and white chocolate is not even in the running. Make it dark chocolate truffles and I'll be your new best friend. *grin*
4) Daydream Believer by the Monkees. Was my first really favorite song, when I was about 10-12. Still love it.
5) Dr. Demento, for assembling such a weird and wacky group of funny, dirty, and all around just plain strange songs that thrill geeks everywhere, including me.
6) Destiny, aka Fate. It seems to throw stuff at all of us at the absolute worst times, when we're knee deep with other crap. Conversely, at times it does come up with the most beautiful and memorable moments, usually unexpectedly, which seem to make the rest of the crap worthwhile.
7) Disco. I was born too late to be a part of this craze, which was probably all to the good, but I do love the beat of disco music.
8) Dianthus. That, according to the tag, is the name of the flowers that currently reside in my window boxes. I have a very pretty crimson red variety.
9) Dubai. Someday I want to be rich enough to fly first class to Dubai and book a room in the world's only seven star hotel. Just to show that I can. *grin*
10) Dublin. More realistically, I would like to visit Ireland, and Dublin would be top of the list of places to see while there.
