Weekly Wrap-Up
Apr. 3rd, 2004 10:22 amFirst, I want to thank everyone who gave me advice. A lot of it was good, and some of it made me think. Also, thank you for the encouragement. Next time I get down, I think I'll come back and reread those comments.
As an aside, I do get depressed from time to time. It seems to go in cycles (and not just monthly ones, either!), and for some reason totally unknown to me this one was the worst in a long time. Hopefully there won't be a repeat of it for a while. Hey, it's no fun for me either, you know?
For those of you who suggested Monster, let me just say that I've tried to use it and every time it defeats me. It wants me to label my work experience so it can line me up for jobs that want those keywords or whatnot. But none of my work experience, including my present job, fits any of those categories. I have had my resume up on usajobs.com for a while, with 0 hits. Any further suggestions on how to get Monster to actually *work* would be welcomed.
Anyway, depression cycle mostly over, and it being a brand new month, I decided to post one of my poems in celebration of April and Spring, and to make those of you who hate excessive cuteness writhe in horrible pain.
Muhahahaha! *grin*
*poing*
