So....

At 1:45 in the bleeding morning, this morning, I am awakened by music. When it becomes evident that the music is not going away, I haul my ass out of bed, pull on a robe, sneakers, and a coat, grab my keys and go out to the parking lot. Where I find two rednecks enjoying their new heavy-metal CD, or MP3, or whatever, blasting over the nice new sound system one has in his nice new pickup truck. I knocked on the window and they turned down the sound and rolled down the window to see what I wanted. I quote:

"Please keep that turned down. It is *1* in the fucking *am* and *some* of us are trying to sleep."

And I went back inside. And they did. Wonder of wonders. For idiots who obviously don't think, I consider that an unusual burst of intelligence.

Good News

1) I am officially signed off on the BOD/BODc test. Yay!
2) I was very much complimented on the quality of my standards by at least three of my "bosses". Yay!
3) It looks like I will be able to get time off in April to go visiting. Yay!
4) I had a good prescreening phone interview with a company in Virginia Beach, VA. Yay!
