Try jumping up and down and yelling "yippee!" at the top of your lungs. Or do what I do -- work on a story.

Neither possible where I work. Thank you for the suggestions, though. *smile*

Ah, you're at work. That's too bad. If you want to kill time, ponder this, then: every time you look into someone's face, you see reflected in that face the face of God (or the beginnig of time or whatever else you want to call it). Don't believe me? Consider this: you saw your mother's face at birth. She saw her mother's face at birth. She saw HER mother's face at birth. And on and on in an unbroken chain (I promise your ancestors didn't just materialize in the 13th century), reflected from face to face, person to person, being to being, back to the beginning of time.

How cool is that?

I'm afraid that I don't quite see what you're getting at. I can assure you that I do not remember my birth in any way, shape, or form, for which I am devoutly grateful.

Memory has nothing to do with it. It's all about presence and reflection. You were there, she was there, etc. all the way back.

Okay, granted.

Even so, quite frankly, I'm afraid that I don't quite see why this is at all important. That both a mother and a child were present at the birth of the latter from the former seems like a Duh! sort of biology question. I don't see any special sort of "meaning" to that fact.

I don't mean to make light of what you offered, but I geniunely am puzzled this time. *smile*
